Application Fee
There is no application fee for any category (General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PWD) to apply for the UP Scholarship 2025-26.

How to Apply for UP Scholarship 2025-26
Follow these steps to apply online:
- One Time Registration (OTR): This is mandatory from the 2025-26 session. Complete OTR on scholarship.up.gov.in . This involves mobile number authentication and Aadhaar e-KYC.
- Get OTR Number: After successful OTR, your OTR number will show on screen and be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Fill Scholarship Portal Registration: Register on the scholarship portal using your name, father’s name, college name, and mobile number. A registration number will be generated.
- Fill Application Form: Carefully fill all details in the application form, including your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, address, and qualification details.
- Upload Documents: Upload all required documents as listed above.
- Institute Verification: Your institute will verify your form and conduct biometric authentication.
- District Committee Verification: The District Scholarship Committee will verify the forms. You can check if your form is accepted or rejected.
- Receive Scholarship: If your form is verified and recommended, the scholarship amount will be sent directly to your bank account through an Aadhaar-based system.
