Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need 12th class pass with either Physics OR Mathematics . Plus, one of the following:
- An ‘O’ Level Course in Computer Science.
- A Diploma in Computer Engineering, IT, or Electronics Engineering.
Required typing speed:
- English: 30 WPM
- Hindi: 25 WPM
Selection Process
Selection for UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A has three steps:
- Written Exam
- Typing Test
- Merit List
Exam Pattern
The written exam has 160 questions for 200 marks . Time allowed: 2 hours .

Salary Details
Selected candidates will get an in-hand salary of ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 per month. This includes basic salary (₹5,200-₹20,200) and Grade Pay of ₹2,400 , plus other allowances.
