Total Posts and Eligibility
RRB will fill 1376 Paramedical Staff posts . Candidates needed a Medical Degree, Diploma, or Certificate, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or board in India. The age limit for candidates, as of January 1, 2025 , was a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 43 years . Detailed age relaxation rules are in the full RRB Paramedical Notification 2025.
Application Fees and Refund
Application fees were ₹500/- for General, OBC, and EWS categories. Candidates who appeared for the CBT would receive a refund of ₹400/- . For SC, ST, EBC, Female, and Transgender candidates, the fee was ₹250/- , which was fully refunded on appearing for the CBT. Payments could be made online using credit card, debit card, net banking, or offline through E-Challan.
How the Exam Works: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Exam Pattern
The selection process starts with a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam has 100 questions for a total of 100 marks . Candidates get 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes) to complete the test. Each correct answer gives +1 mark . For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks (-1/4) will be deducted (negative marking).
