Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the DSSSB Primary Teacher PRT post, you must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) .
- OR 10+2 with at least 45% marks AND a 2-year D.El.Ed. (as per NCTE Norms 2002).
- OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks AND a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) .
- OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) .
- OR A Graduation Degree AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) .
Additional Requirements:
- Must have passed CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) Paper I conducted by CBSE.
- Must have studied Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English as a subject at the Secondary level (Class 10).
Ensure you have these qualifications from a recognized university or board.
Salary Details
Selected Primary Teachers (PRT) will receive the following salary:

Selection Process
The selection process includes two steps:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): An online examination.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The Computer Based Test (CBT) details are:
- Total Questions: 200
- Total Marks: 200
- Exam Duration: 2 hours
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Questions will be in both Hindi and English (except for language-specific papers).
