CBSE Group A, B & C Exam Dates Out, Admit Card Soon for 124 Posts

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced important updates for candidates who applied for Group A, B, and C posts. The written examination for 124 posts will be held on January 31, 2026, and February 1, 2026 . Candidates can now check their exam city details. Admit cards will be available soon before the exam.

This recruitment drive fills various positions like Assistant Secretary, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant.

  • Application Start: December 2, 2025
  • Last Date to Apply: December 27, 2025
  • Exam City Intimation Slip Date: January 17, 2026 (Available now)
  • Admit Card Release: Before the exam (Expected soon)
  • Written Exam Dates: January 31, 2026, to February 1, 2026

How to Check Exam City and Download Admit Card

Candidates can check their exam city details now and download their admit cards soon from the official CBSE website. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in
  2. Look for the link that says “CBSE Group A, B & C Admit Card/Hall Ticket 2026” or “Exam City Intimation Slip 2026”.
  3. Click on the link.
  4. You will need to enter your Application Number and Date of Birth .
  5. After entering the details, click ‘Submit’.
  6. Your Exam City Intimation Slip or Admit Card will appear on the screen.
  7. Download and print a copy for your records.

Remember to carry a printed copy of your admit card and a valid photo ID to the examination hall.

Application Fees

The application fees for these posts were as follows:

  • Group A Posts (Gen/OBC/EWS): ₹1750/-
  • Group B & C Posts (Gen/OBC/EWS): ₹1050/-
  • SC/ST/ESM/PH/All Female (All Posts): ₹250/-

Fees could be paid online using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or offline through E-Challan.

Age Limit

As of 2025, the minimum age to apply was 18 years . The maximum age limit varied by post: 27, 30, or 35 years . Details are in the official notification.

Salary Information

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900/- to ₹1,12,400/- . In addition to the basic salary, government norms allow other allowances like HRA (House Rent Allowance), DA (Dearness Allowance), and TA (Travel Allowance).
