The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for Class 10th and 12th exams for the year 2025. Students can now check their scores and download marksheets. To check results, students will need their Roll Number and Date of Birth. The CBSE conducted the Class 10th exams from February 15, 2025, to March 18, 2025 . Class 12th exams took place from February 15, 2025, to April 04, 2025 . The minimum passing marks for both classes is 33% .

How to Check CBSE Board Results 2025
Students have three main ways to check their results: through the official websites, via SMS, or using the DigiLocker app. Remember to have your Roll Number, Date of Birth, and other required details ready.
1. Check Results Via Official Websites
Follow these steps to download your CBSE Class 10th or 12th marksheet:
- Visit the official CBSE result websites: results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in .
- Look for the link that says “CBSE Class 10th Result 2025” or “CBSE Class 12th Result 2025”. Click on it.
- A new page will open. Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth in the given fields.
- Click the “Submit” button.
- Your result will appear on the screen.
- You can now download and print your marksheet for future use.
2. Check Results Via SMS
Students can also get their results delivered to their mobile phones through SMS. Here is how:
- Open your mobile phone’s messaging app.
- Type the SMS in the correct format:
- For Class 10th:
CBSE10 <Roll Number> <Date of Birth> <School Number> <Centre Number> - For Class 12th:
CBSE12 <Roll Number> <Date of Birth> <School Number> <Centre Number> - Send this message to 7738299899 .
- You will receive your CBSE result on your mobile number as an SMS.
3. Get Marksheet Via DigiLocker App
DigiLocker is an online service that provides digital copies of your important documents. You can get your CBSE marksheet, pass certificate, and migration certificate through DigiLocker.
Activate Your DigiLocker Account
- Go to the CBSE DigiLocker activation portal: cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse .
- Click on “Get Started with Account Confirmation.”
- Select your class: Class X or Class XII.
- Enter your School Code , CBSE Roll Number , and the 6 Digit Access Code (your school provides this code; contact your school if you do not have it).
- Click “Next” and enter your Mobile Number.
- Click “Submit Button.”
- If asked, enter your Date of Birth.
- Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) you receive on your mobile phone and click “Submit.”
- Your DigiLocker account is now active.
- Click on “Go to DigiLocker account” to log in.
Access Your CBSE Documents
- Open your DigiLocker account (via website or mobile app).
- Go to the “Issued Documents” section.
- Your CBSE Marksheet, Pass Certificate, and Migration Certificate will be available here.
