BPSC AEDO Admit Card 2026 Released: Exam Dates & Download Steps

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will soon release admit cards for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) exam. This exam is for 935 government job posts. Students who applied for this exam can download their admit cards from January 2026 . The BPSC AEDO exams will take place on January 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16, 2026 . Candidates must download their admit card and exam city slip to know their test center and time.

About the AEDO Exam

What is BPSC AEDO?

The BPSC AEDO exam recruits Assistant Education Development Officers. These officers work to improve education in Bihar. They help in planning and overseeing educational programs across the state.

Number of Posts

BPSC is filling a total of 935 posts for Assistant Education Development Officers. This is a good chance for many students to get a government job.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)

To apply for the AEDO post, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree. This degree can be from any recognized university or institution in India.

Age Limit

As of August 01, 2025 , candidates must be at least 21 years old . The maximum age limit is 37 years for general category candidates and 40 years for some reserved categories. Please check the official notification for full details on age limits.

Application Fee

The application fee for this exam was ₹100/- . This fee applied to all candidates, including General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and Female applicants. Fees could be paid online using credit card, debit card, net banking, or offline via E-Challan.

Salary for AEDO Posts

Selected candidates for the AEDO post will receive a salary of ₹29,200/- per month . This is based on Pay Level 5 of the government pay scale. Other allowances will also be given as per government rules.

How to Download Your Admit Card

Follow these simple steps to download your BPSC AEDO Admit Card 2026 once it is released:

  2. Look for the link that says “BPSC AEDO Admit Card 2026” or “Hall Ticket Download”. Click on it.
  3. A new page will open. You need to enter your Application Number and your Date of Birth .
  4. After entering the details, click the “Submit” button.
  5. Your admit card will appear on the screen.
  6. Download and print a copy of your admit card. Keep it safe for the exam day.

You can also check for an “Exam City Intimation Slip” which will tell you your exam city before the admit card is fully released.

What to Carry to the Exam

On the day of the exam, it is very important to carry:

  • A printed copy of your BPSC AEDO Admit Card 2026 .
  • A valid government-issued photo ID proof . (For example, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License).

Without these, you may not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
